Meet Aharon Ladin
Aharon Ladin started in the rug trade over twenty years ago, working alongside dealers and restorers of fine hand-knotted rugs. He noticed something that bothered him: customers would invest thousands in a beautiful rug, then lay it over a flimsy, generic pad — or no pad at all. Rugs buckled, slid, and wore out years before their time.
In 2004 he opened a small workshop with a simple promise — cut every pad to the exact rug it will live under, using materials good enough for the finest floors. What began as a side service for local rug dealers grew, referral by referral, into CustomRugPad: a dedicated custom padding studio serving homeowners, designers, and property managers across the region and shipping nationwide.
Today Aharon still checks every order that leaves the workshop. His measuring tape, his blade, his name on the door.
